Solar Eclipse in Asia

Eclipses are important lunations that occur on the plane of the ecliptic.

When the Moon’s path around the Earth crosses the Sun’s apparent path (the ecliptic), they seem to be aligned from our view point. Then, the Sun’s light is blocked by the Moon’s body, and we witness a Solar Eclipse.

Since antiquity it is has been said that Solar eclipses are important for the prediction of events that affect nations, kings, and governments.

This particular eclipse is produced in the 29 degree of Cancer, in the terms of the malefic Saturn. According to astrological tradition this means loss, and as Cancer is a cardinal sign, the effects will be swift to appear, strong, noticeable but not permanent.

Cancer is also a water sign, feminine, nocturnal, and ruled by the Moon whose nature is cold and wet. The moon is also the siginificator of the people, women, mothers, food, etc. As the Moon rules the sea, lakes, rivers, ports, marine animals and sailors, this eclipse could announce misfortune for people, mothers, women and food and it will come from the sea or water. For instance, floods, wreckages, torrential rains, tempests and winds, since during this period the “gates of winds” will open when Mercury exactly opposes Jupiter on the 30th July, reinforced by Moon conjuncting Mercury and Venus squaring Saturn.

During this period, on the 10th August, Mars will square Saturn at 20 Gemini, squaring the previous full moon at 0 Aries. This is a position of tension, pointing at a very sensitive moment, with risk of violence, seismic and volcanic activity (earthquakes and volcano eruptions).

The areas most affected by the eclipse will be greater part of Asia and the Pacific Ocean, India, Mumbay, Bhutan, Bangladesh, China, North and South Korea, Japan (the Volcano Islands, near Iwo Jima), Korea.

A total visible eclipse that is also angular always produces marked effects; and those affairs that are governed by the house in which it falls are liable to suffer greatly. For instance, an eclipse in the mid-heaven has been known to precede the death of the monarch, and one in the seventhe house may disturb foreign affairs or even cause war.

In Japan, the land of the rising Sun, the eclipse is angular, falling on the MidHeaven. This is a very unfortunate chart position that reinforces  already existent fears for Emperor Akihito’s health or the well being of the Royal Family.

The path of the eclipse can be seen at http://www.eclipse.org.uk/eclipse/0412009/S2009Jul21.pdf

Summary:

As a result of this eclipse there may be floods and volcanic eruptions or earthquakes centered on the Pacific area, with lesser effects being seen in India and her surroundings. The damage could be by flood waters due to storms (tempests and torrential downpours) as well by the invasion of the sea in the coastal areas due to suboceanic volcanic action and/or high winds.

Tension, possibly being expressed as violence in China, North and South Korea may occur in the same period.

We will just have to wait and see the news. This is the only way to test our predictions and learn from experience.

There was another magnitude 6.9 earthquake on Sunday night, also off the Pacific coast of Japan. But at a depth of 340 kilometers, it caused widespread shaking but little damage.

Its incredible that those floods could be predicted in advance. Does that mean that everything is preordained to happen? That we have no control over our future? Everything is planned for us?
